264 or 272 cams?

OK, i'm not getting any help on my question. I have people telling me if i go with the 272 cams, along with my lightweight flywheel, i will have idle problems. And then other people are telling me i wont have that problem. So if anyone can help me out here that would be great. Any experiences of yours would help too. I need to know which cam would be the smartest to go with. I'm starting to lean towards the 264's myself. AKA...V2's or V3's

Those calico coated bearings look good to me. But either are better than OE, so you really cant go wrong. For the $35 difference in price, i'd go with the calico coated ones.

Post up links to the camshafts you are looking at. SOHC or DOHC? You avatar is a SOHC but your sig is a DOHC.

Generally the longer the duration, the more valve overlap you will have, and the engine will 'lope' more. Be careful with long duration cams because too much overlap and there wont be enough vacuum to keep it running at idle (this is where high compression comes in).

wondering about this myself, im leaning to the V2's because i wanna use sohc pistons in the future and i'm thinking hte 3/4 race cams would prolly interfere with the higher comps pistons and i also don't wanna have too big of a valve reliefe piston machined into the piston, since it'll probobly compromise its intergrity.
