So yea, 250hp is my goal and I would like to know whats the best way to get there. I dont want to do it cheap and push my T25 to the breaking point or anything like that. I want it to be reliable and I dont mind spending some money to have it done right. I am also into the whole mountin pass thing so torque is important to me for pulling out of turns and so is a smoth/gradual power band. I also need a turbo that is going to be resposive, quick spooling, and pulls to red line. I am pondering going with a T28 or a custom T25 but I dont know enough about either option to make the right descion for my goals.

So, heres a list of what I belive would be the best way to do what I want to do and I would like to get your ideas on what turbo would be best and if I should add or take out parts from my list. I already have an intake, BOV, down pipe, gutted cat, and 3" exhaust. Thanks a lot

Sounds like you need a gt turbo and all the supporting pieces.

Are you looking for 250whp,

Don't get custom t25, get a t28BB or gt2830, lag ins at minimum, if you need 250whp get 550cc (which means you have roughly 300hp at the flywheel).

2.5-3.0 INCH EXHAUSTyou need to get fmic, as I don't like smic for such hp.

Good luck,

T28BB or GT25303" turbo back exhaustCone intake460cc InjectorsZ32 MAFSSAFC (Or some other way to control those injectors, ie ECU burn)FMIC (Might be able to get away with a BIG SMIC, but not sure)KA TB (Optional, but IMO the stock CA TB is rediculously small)

I think that will get you to 250hp pretty easily. I don't think Cams or HG is nessicary for that kind of power, but certainly won't hurt.

Darren,

Didn't gain almost 50 hp by switching out your MAF?

I've been told my setup should put down 301 to the wheels, and that is what I am shooting for.

So yea, it looks like my T25 might be dead soon so this is going to happen sooner than I thought. Im pretty sure I want to go with a T28bb now.

I was wondering what needs to be moded or replaced when bolting in the turbo? Like do I need to use SR outlets, what about the lines, etc.

Thanks

it looks like about 5.5 mm bigger, and it bolts on, be sure that you take a dremel or something to the plemun to make it worth while though.
