1990 twin turbo, ohm tested fuel injectors finding out that multiple are bad. Reading .20 ohms all the way to 1.468?? (Meter set on 2kohm test) 3 injectors tested at .12. on top of it code 34 of course. So i have another set of stock 1990 fuel injectors. Not worth my time? If i should go larger cc.. Who is a dependable supplier and reasonably priced under $500?

** Running Conzult on the car now...timing shows 15 degrees at startup...when car gets to operating temp, timing jumps to 25 degrees?? Software error common from conzult? OR are the injectors throwing fault to timing being that the #1 cylinder reads .45 ohm at injector?

** Minor upgrades...stage 3 clutch and lightweight flywheel, jdm motor, k&n intake, full exhaust.

**How much more gain from ecu flash and 555cc injectors?

I really enjoy this car...but i need some help, thank you

Reset the meter to 0-20 or 0-50ohms, your lowest range. Normal impedance of injectors is around 11ohms.

Convert to new style injectors, as replacing with more old style (1990-1994) are a waste of time an money.

For $600 drop in and ready to go, this is the cheapest conversion to new style injectors. Bernie is the man and super reliable.

You won't find any quality injector upgrades for $500. Bottom end you're looking at about $950.

Timing should be set with the light when the car is warm. Timing should jump around when warming up, and then settle to 15.

That's gay, I can't edit my own post anymore?

"yes - have 18 or 24 on hand"

From Bernie. He'll have them in a few weeks as well I'm sure. He has a very successful side business as a Z mechanic, and people are always going bigger on injectors.

If you are thinking of changing the ECU and depending on your funds, you may want to upgrade the injectors. Stock injectors are only good to about 14 -15lbs of boost. After that, you will run lean.

You can find some good stuff on Ebay, depending on your timing. They actually have a decent amount of injectors pop up. I got some 740cc Nismo Injectors for $581, with shipping. It was an individual seller, but he got me the supplies and they were new as advertised.

Also, check the google shopping if you haven't already. It'll compare prices for you from around the web.
