2500rpm jerk

Hey I need some help with my 95 240, when I drive and have the rpms at 2500, then it just jerks every so often. It happens when I drive and even when I rev the engine. Could it be the plugs, or cables? Any ideas? I check the drive shaft, but I know that it is not that because it is not a constant jerk, just once in a while. And it is not a timed thing. What I mean it does not happen every 10 secs, just random. Any help? Ideas?

check the battery cables usually if its not connected to the batter ot connected well, you cant rev pass 2.5. i had that problem when i relocated my battery

"limp mode" won't allow you to rev past that, so its possibly a MAFS/ECU problem?

some people have cured the hesitation around that rpm by replacing their grounds, its cheap so i suggest you start there.

I can rev past 2500, but it when I am cruzin at about 2500 rpms when it does this jerking. But all the ideas that I have gotten are good, so I am going to try them out. I will try to get new plugs and cables and maybe that can help. And also the grounding issue, do I replace both the one at the battery or do I replace the ground strap for the engine it self? or both? I am not a proffesional mechanic, but I like to work on my 240, so if it sounds like I am not understanding, then just bare with me.

SHE RUNS GREAT NOW!! WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT THAT SOME NICE SIZE GROUND STRAPS CAN DO THE JOB!!! BUT I ALSO WENT AHEAD AND PUT IN SOME NEW NGK'S.
