make sure your MAF is completely plugged. That was my mistake when I installed my intake. I thought it was plugged in, but when I wiggled it the plug came loose, clipped ait in and solved all my problems.

check the intake for any leaking hoses and see if the IACV hose is plugged in all the way on the intake.

MAFS. bottom line. 2500 = mafs issue. If it's not the element, its with the wiring/grounding.

had this problem too. cept mine i think was 3500. check ur exhaust. when i let one of my 240's sit for a couple months i came back and it would start and idle fine. but when i gave it gas it bogged and then would rise to 3.5 and then stop for a while. then would 'garggle' and bog. it prolly isn't it but still check ur exhaust for any thing that may be restricting it.

my problem was my exhaust was flooded
