25 Year and older importation

Has anybody imported their car from Japan that is older than 25 years. I am getting the itch to get my hands on a Datsun 2000 Fairlady Roadster.

why get one from japan when there are so many available here?

I see them comming up forsale all the time. Or do you want the RHD thing going on?

it'd cost way less to get one here.

there's usually a couple on ebay at any given time.

There is is the RHD factor and the ones in Japan tend to have a little more pep to them. Ie Mikuni's and some other under the hood special items.

Roadsters in Japan are VERY expensive! There's no difference performance-wise stock JDM to stock USDM for the Roadsters. Obviously, a modded car is a modded car, no matter what side of the pond it's coming from. You most likely will not find a Roadster in Japan for under $25,000 (plus shipping & related costas)...unless it's a project car. I saw only 2 the last 6 years I lived in Japan.

Remember, anything 25 years old in Japan is most likely owned by someone very wealthy...
