unbeleivable milage for having 436 gears..i knew it made the car easier on itself but man.stock it got 22 max using cruiscontrol.just sharing this info, though it nwas pretty good.this was cruisin at about 3 to 3200 rpm and up a little.75 or better.my car very heavy too.

man.....4.36 gears are some serious gears. What did the J originally have for gearing? How long have you had the 4.36 gear? And last but not least.....have you run the 1/4 times with the new gear yet? I can't wait to get my 4.08 for my Q installed.

3.909 vs 4.36= 11.5% . Why did you swap? 2500 rpm @60 mph in 0.694 [4th gear] vs 2250 rpm stock

What the pathfinder 4x4 with 3.5 liter has currently.

Obviously a bump up in displacement [3.0>3.5=16.66%] is a lot worse on consumption than a 11.5% higher rpm of a smaller engine.

thanks ivory..had a shop behind the dealership in kirkland wa,put them in.got them from nissan motor sport.one way you can tell is,it rarely has to kick down to clime hills, has plenty power can go real steep.at 60 even the rpms enough to make it so its not shifting all the time.with my size tires im 10 over 80 mph.know one knows how to do up the speedo, and adds ten every 100.100 miles 110 on speedo.this car to heavy to worry about time slips,lol...and qtech, why not change.makes it alot easier to get a heavy car around.tried and true and cheap seat of the pants feeling.man,id definatally have to argue the issue with gas consupmtion, even with myself lol.never would i have guess it possible really.my vcar aint exactly stock so.seems everythings in unicien,lol..you know i forgot how to spell, hehe

LOL!!!! If you think your car is too heavy...then what about my Q! It must be like the Titanic compared to the J in weight...but I am not certain. Funny thing is that I am worried about time slips and being that it is such a heavy car makes it all that much more challenging to get some low ET's out of the big beast rolling down the strip.
