where do you live? i've been 16 for almost 6 months, but in KY you have to get your permit for 180 days (6 months) and then you are eligible to try for your actual license. its the longest 6 months of my life.

GA... we get permits at 15, restricted license at 16, full license at 18. Restricted means you can't drive between 12 and 6, or maybe its 11:30 and 6.. anyway... KY must suck too man.

yea kinda. at least you get part of a license for a while. i don't ever drive during those hours anyway, so that restricted thing would be good for me. so you're 17 right now huh. how long you had your car? what year? mods?

Umm... no.. I'm 15... 10 months away from ANY license, but I must state again that I hope no one will hold that against me, I do know what I'm talking about, and I'm a hell of a lot smarter that most people my age.

I got it from my older brother. Without him I might have gone ricer, or not cared at all. I learn something new every day though. Man I love turbos!

yea, they are good things. they can be very bad also tho. nuthin like boost!

Bad? How so? When they blow, yeah. I heard about a guy who has blown both of his turbos twice in his S4.

Yeah, I heard about it from, as usual, my brother. He has an A4 1.8T, which thus led to my love for turbos.

Especially after chip/exhaust (he got the exhaust for free, it was a tester ) he now runs 205hp/250lb/ft-ish, up from the 155/165, respectively, from stock.

The turbo ran really low cause Audi decided it should, or something like that. APR has done tests.

The year after I got my liscence, they implemented the law that said you can't have freinds in the car for 6 months. Ha! I won! My buddy is a few months from 16, and he does NOT SHUT UP about him being excited/frustrated waiting for his liscence. Oh well, we were all that age once.

I got my license when I was 15 wasn't a permit or anything it was a full license not restricted nothing god I love MS but then right after I got my license they changed the age to 16 a lot of people were PISSED. I past all my test with flying colors. I have been driving since I was like 12-13 and every car I have owned has been a standard. My first car was the best and I miss it the most 1970 bug convertible yellow with a black top, chrome hub caps, and yellow wheels talk about a pimp ride.
