i for the first time saw a picture of the a- 20mm sway barmy 24 mm bar is way different it is bent around the exhaust and diff. and has a way different end link set upthe pic i saw of the 20mm bar is attached.obviously the aftermarket bar was not a copy just made thicker, but completely redesigned. What does it all mean?Tech - is ur 24mm the same way ? do all the bends make it less effective then a bar w/less bends??

Remember, it is a spring, so all depends on spring rate, which itself is dependent on material and geomtery. Mounting brackets are in the same loaction and end links are the same configuration. So appearance isn't the governing factor.

Might take a look at some of the weird putter designs available. Many different and even outlandish designs, but they all do the same thing.

My 24 mm bar is an exact copy of the oem 15.9 and 20 mm rear sway bars all convolutions for oem exhaust are intact. Just made from solid not hollow tubing Therefore adds 12-15% to normal ^4 formula. We measured the stiffness gain on a jigg with scales as installed and the tire to jack [road rate] was a good approximation.

WARNING THE LOOK OF THE {pictured} BAR INDICATES THAT IT WILL BE MUCH LESS STIFF THAN A OEM DESIGN DUE TO THE MUCH LONGER RIGHT ANGLE ARMS

The oem 6" right angle is actually~~70 degrees........picture unit appears to be twice as long [12"] thus half as stiff. It might not be any stiff as installed than oem 20mm bar.

Give me the actual measurements with angles and I can calculate.

You must model with finite sector anaylsis as the published formula only works with a perfectly straight bar and 90 degree angle thurst arm!!!!!!!!!!!

As Wes stated, that is a front sway bar as evidenced by the ball-joint end links.

The rear sway bar has regular end links w/out any ball joints.

IT"S NOT A 90-93 Q FRONT BAR WRONG SHAPES............close but still wrong.

Ok James this is the correct one. Sorry about the mix up & thanks for double checking before I shipped you the wrong one. The one pictured earlier is from a Z car. I just have too many parts laying around. This one pictured below should be the correct one. RIght??!!Mark

i think so. looks mo better hard to see the angle of the bendsdoes it look to u that the u part of the bends go under the exhaust on both sides and under the diff. ?? or was it over the exhaust and under the diff ??
