I have a 93 ka24de and I was considering a cam upgrade to a 248 intake so I have a 248/248 cam set up but I have been hearing having a 232 exhauste cam give better power and is more snappy at 248/232. Whats better for n/a?

I guess the 232 swap is popular for the n/a ive re. the more air you can get in and the faster is escapes makes ponies. but the volumetric efficiency/intake scavenging at high rpms with 248/248 is good for freeway passing or 3rd gear corners. I only see it keeping the low range torque we're use to but opens up a smidge up top. im goin to experiment with roughly 2.5, 3.75, and possibly 5 degrees of advance on the intake soon with the 248/248 setup. minimizing overlap is key for torque from 2500-4200ish, dont have jwt cam gears but just move it a few teeth and make new marks for future adjustments is just the same. just saves $140! maybe ill throw a 232 in my altima and see if its noticeably different. but then again if you look at kelford cams the intake is 254 intake i think and 262 on the exhaust so bigger is prolly better. haha
