248/248 cams on S13 - Whats your opinion?

Hi guys,

I have the 'hot cams' in my 91 and was just wondering if it would be worthwhile swap in an extra exhaust cam that I have from a previous motor? What are your experiences with the 248/248 setup for NA? Is it a worthwhile HP gain or no? Anyone ever do a GTECH or drag run with the change?

i have that in my 95 s14 and i love it. especially over 232/232, id say do it, it will pull better in higher rpms and u dont need the power down low anyway

I think for an S14 it may be an improvement, but on a S13 I wouldn't do it. I was going to, but I decided to just go with a set of JWT cams instead.

Wouldn't pay to get it repinned, and I would be afraid of not getting the chain on the right tooth and smashing the valves into the pistons.
