I've read about doing the CAM swap in an s13, with two exhaust cams. I know it can be done in altima with the use of a s13 exhaust cam on teh intake and I'm assuming the install would be the same.

Can anyone confirm this?

And is it really beneficial to do this, the motors on the stand so it would be easy for me to do it. I would like some first hand expierences, altima or 240 it doesnt matter. Like gas mileage change, power change, valves bent, anything.

I'm expierenced with the SOHC motor in my 240, but havent dealt with my DOHC in my altima yet. I'm ready to learn though

i dont think you can do this on a fwd ka as there is a distributor drive gear on the exhaust cam (rwd ka cams dont have this). http://www.turbo240.com v2 cams will work in a fwd ka

I would just use an s13 exhaust cam, but I what to know if it is really worth it to do it. Or just leave the stock cams alone until I can upgrade.
