I have a chance to get 6 tires for dirt dirt dirt cheap.

If they fit i'm gonna use them in the rear. Wheel will most likely be 17x9 +35. (wheel offset is subject to change depending on fitment)

They're only about an inch taller than stockish tires..

So what do you all think?

They will fit, but they arent ideal. Obviously there are consequences of running such a tall tire, but they wont be very noticable.

If its that great of a deal then buy 'em.

I had some on mine, they fit and don't rub. Feels good too! I'm staying with that size in the rear. The fronts rubbed my struts so I had to take them off...couldn't turn to far!

I wouldn't call it an "ugly" tire size, as it's an ideal 17" tire for alot of other cars, but for the 240, I can see why you might think that..Either way thanks for the helpful advice.

let me rephrasecompared to a traditional tire size of 40 series on a 17, its a taller tire, which makes it look fatter.
