Hey guys! I have a problem I have finally gotten my L28et to where I want it. I have a T3/T4 Turbo, N42 Intake with 240SX 60mm TB, Fuel rail with 480cc injectors and MSD fuel pump, and a intercooler. I am running full 300zx z31 ECU, MAF, Distributer internals (chopper wheel), coil and igniter. I’m happy the way things are coming out. But here is my problem the car won’t pull cause my timing is not advancing the throttle response is awesome but it has no pull on the high rpm's it doesn’t feel like a turbo I would know having 3 turbo cars and a turbo diesel lol. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Has this happen to anyone before.

What engine management? The Z31 computer wont really handle 450cc injectors too well without a tune.

I'm going to have jim wolf tune my ECU but I havent done it yet. I just put my injectors and fuel rail on last week. Should I drop down to the stock injectors? Would that fix my timing problem?

yes, without a rimulator and chipped ecu those injectors are running the same duty cycle as the stockers and that means you are putting in about 40% more fuel than needed, you can't change the injectors without addressing the ecu

a jwt or chipped ecu is a one sixe fits all solution, a nistune or other romulator will allow you to dial in your engines fuela nd spark curves to fit your particular car, and will yield more power but only after extensive tuning by a good dyno shop wiht the aid of a wideband, so yes a romulator is better but it will cost a few hours fo tuning to get it right
