240z good buy?

Hello guys,

I found what i think is a good deal. I wanted to post a ton of pictures to make sure i double check with you guys first. The car was stored in a barn since 83, as the inspection sticker shows. Just recently the car was pulled out about 3 months ago to be sold. I think the deal was it was the kid's grandfather's barn and car. Then he died or something and he got the car. I'm not exactly sure. I just know it looks like it's been in a barn for 20+ years. The guy also said that the people who had the barn would run it from time to time. I don't really know if that is true or not. I haven't tried to put a battery in it and see if it starts. So, it could be seized. He only wants $1350 for it. Please let me know what you guys think.

by the way, what was nissan/datsun thinking with that color? eewhhh

EDIT: just found out the car has 88k on it. Looks like this is a steal. I will never be able to find a better deal here in pa.

rust is far more fo a concern that wether the eigne is good, thes L6 is dang near bulletproof and if it is siezed it's sue to mointure and rust form sitting for so long, the upside is engines are abundant and avaiable as people tend to save the motors when the body rots away

yiou have lots fo pic's but few are f any key areas, you need to look at the bottom of the rockers, bottom fo the frame rails, bottom of thetire well, inside the hatch lip, batttery tray, where the sway bar mounts to the frame rail, wherethe inner finders meet thefirewall, where the top boars meet the floor pans, where the pans turn up behind the seats and just about anything thats not glass or rubber that's not a bad price for a good complete solid car, even if the block is garbage, if however the chassis is full of rust walk away
