the early Z (70-83) had a zero to slight positive offset depending on the wheel width, the 84-85 300ZX N/A had a +30 I believe, I'm sure AZ_BUM will chime in with the correct Z31 offset

it will look like it would tip over in a small wind gust.

i.e. BATTLESHIP!

AKA: CRAP!

Oh, and most offset information is useless without knowing the width of the wheel itself.

But the +40 offset is still WAAAYYYYY too high. No matter what width wheel you are talking about.

Thanks,

I have the schwastica's on my '83 now which have a +10 offset on a 6in rim. I found an awsome set of 17's with a +40 offset on a 7in rim. I figured i would have to get adapters but I wanted to make sure they would look good on the car before I spent the money.

Once you add adapters into the equation, the possibilities are virtually limitless. But you will have to add some huge adapters to make it look right. Around 1.25 to 1.5 inches.

Well, offset isn't based on anything to do with the car's suspension. The track width may change depending on the rotors, hubs, etc used. But the offset is built into the wheel. Once you have track width, you determine how wide you want the wheels to be. Then you determine where you want them to sit. Then, you have your offset.

the S130 is a bit more difficult to make 5lug, Modern Motorsports offers a modified rear stub axle for the S30 I bet Ross woulod do the same for the S130 on a case by case basis, as for front, you might be able to take a complete strut assy from a Z31 I think the inboard bearing race is too deep to engage the S130 spindle

Ross does offer a billit aluminum Z31 style hub he might be able to machine it for your car but I am not sure if he could do it on a single order

there was a guy on ebay selling 510 and S130 big brake kits, he might have something but I have no idea who he is

Stick with offsets closest to 0 in my opinion.15x6.5 front with +o offset15x7 rear with -1 offset.
