has any one known of some one has done it and would it be possible and how far is the front axle away from the motor mount and the back of the motor on the GTR

Not to rain on your parade at all, just as a heads up. Be prepared to drop some serious coin on that little project. You are going to be looking at a completely custom front end to make an AWD Fairlady. You will have more money in the car than what it most likely is worth. Now just a RWD Fairlady with a 26 will still be expensive, but it will be much cheaper than trying to do an AWD conversion on it.

ummm, i don't see anything on the site to indicate AWD. on one of the links they show the car doing a rwd burnout. however, not saying it's impossible.
