yes, i made sure it was at tdc with #1 cyl lobes facing outwards, then installed the dizzy with the rotor at the #1 sparkplug

ihave not got it started yet... i found that my engine control fuse was blown so i replaced it but still no luck! i found that i do have spark and that i do have fuel pressure.. it didnt seem like it had a lot of pressure but then again idk how much pressure it is suppose to have. i did not reset the ignition timing because i was not aware of this and i dont know how!? how would i do this?

First, take the spark plug out of cylinder #1. Then place a finger or hand over the hole. Manually turn the crank until you FEEL the end of the compression stroke. It will push air out of the hole on the compression stroke. When it seizes to push air, that is TDC. Replace spark plug. From that point, make sure that your ignition rotor is correct and that all of your spark plug wires are correct as well. Check all of your fuses, etc etc etc. When you think you're ready, turn the key to accessory and make sure you can tell that the fuel pump is priming (just a precautionary measure) then try to crank her up.

Good luck dude and keep us in the loop.

i did that.. and the rotor was already exactly where it was suppose to be.. also, i just cranked the engine over with my finger in the hole and everything the compression pushed my finger out of the hole the spark plug would spark at the exact same time.. SO ITS TIMED CORRECTLY, i am assuming.. i unplugged the 2 fuel lines going to the injectors and turned the key over.. it is not getting fuel pressure at all... i sprayed starter fluid in the intake and it stay started until i stopped.. and sometimes it make aloud popping sound, like a backfire but it was coming from my cold air intake?? i replaced the egi, and egi pump relay.. still nothing...FUEL PUMP????????????????????

Very possibly fuel pump. Start with checking the fuel pump fuses/relays etc. Then have someone turn your key from off to accessory while you listen in on the gas tank to see if you can hear the pump prime... it will be a faint hum. Let us know what you find. We'll get this!

I GOT IT STARTED.. i bought a walbro fuel pump.. started it up and it started up but kinda ran like s***.. turned the dizzy a little and runs amazing! so far at least... during the progress of all this i noticed my motor mounts were shot.. so i ordered some megan racing mounts, when to put them on, but i cannot get the old ones off! i tried pb blaster and it didnt even budge. ive not the top bolt off, just not the bottom.. not its stripped! should i just cut it off with a grinder or something??

No, this is the tool you want to use if it's stripped:

You can buy 'em at a local hardware or auto parts store. They work amazing. It's worth picking up a kit of them, because odds are you'll need them again.
