i checked them with an omh meter and the alt is putting 14 volts to the battery. i asked the parts store and they said it was right. but i really dont think thats right. It seems to high but im not sure. The throttle body screw had to be adjusted just to keep runnin so im turnin around 900 to 1100rpms now. If i back it down the car will hardly run. So could this also be the problem with the gas pedal to. The alternator

That really sounds like a faulty alternator. if you lighting is pulsing with engine revs.

Im having a similar problem with my 95 se 5Spd it runs and idles so so at times but it never dies when im driving the oil, battery and brake lite in the cluster blink on and off when im driving or sometimes sitting still and when i got through the gears it does it slightly until its back under load after shifting and when i reach 5th gear they all stay on and everything surges from time to time headlights air conditioning ac brake lights EVERYTHING electrical and while it is in 5th gear i can move the shifter with some pressure and it changes how bad it does it i found that the ALT S fuse was blown under the hood in the relax box its a 7.5 amp fuse me being desperate stuck a 10 amp in its place reconnected the battery and the fuse popped and then smoke from under the relay box just a lil so i unhooked the battery quickly and took that blown fuse out completely my car will still crank and run it didnt seem to make things better or worse but im so stumped on this

Mine does the same , but it pops the 100 amp fuse in the fuse box. I assumed it was a short but checked all the wires big enough to pop that fuse. There was no sign of the wires having a short. the people who did the engine swap in my should have there a55 kicked for such a crappy job. So im hoping with a little bit off change i can get it fixed. Im replacing the battery and alternator for starts to see if that helps. If it dont im going to pull the engine and start over.

Turn on headlights, heater, stereo, etc and let the car run like that for a while.... Then check voltage. I bet it drops. Also 14.6-14.8 is ideal for when the car is running! I highly doubt poor running conditions is a starting/charging issue.

But it is very possible cause it is blowing a 100 amp fuse. The only way to get much of a power surge is through the starting and charging system. That much of a surge can mess with the ecu in the car. Causing a sort power overload in the ecu. But even if thats not it, what do you think it could be?
