240sx with 300z trany prob

i got a s14 fully built and turboed. broke the stock trany so i went to a 300z. took engine back out and when i put it i cant get the starter to turn it over. anyone know what starter it is or the trick to make it sit right?????

Did you change the bellhousing?

no its the stock 300z bellhousing

thats your problem .. it isnt a bolt up transmission

I no I have the adapter plate. It did work before I took it back out
