240sx wiper problem

Hello everyone,I got a 1993 240sx vert and the wiper will not stop when used. I have to turn the car off and restart for the wiper to stop moving. I tried replacing the wiper stalk but still the same. Any ideas what the problem could be?

is the the switch in the wiper stalk. the switch would be my first guess.

yo i got the same problem on my 93 240sx se hatch... its annoying as hell i turn the whipers on and sometimes they go at almost full speed and i have to wait like 5 - 10 minutes, after turning them off, for them to stop whipin...sometimes i have to restart my car...

when i bought the car the lady who sold it to me said she started getting the whiper issue after she had someone install her automatic starter.

still cant figure out wut exactly is wrong with it tho

I already tried replacing the wiper stalk before and the same problem still present. could it be some electrical wiring?

not sure if this would help but the same thing was happening on my 93 sentra, but i replaced the wiper motor and it was fine.10$ at a junkyard...

Okay, got it fixed. I swapped the wiper relay (green box under hood on driver side by firewall) from my other 240sx and now it works normal.
