After driving around with a dead driver side window for a month and hoping to find a replacement on the forum or EBAY, something dawned on my cheap azz brain. Whoever makes window motors in Japan certainly makes them fairly standard for many other makes than the 240sx.So off to the bone yard I went. I spotted my victim, like a buzzard eyeballs a carcass. A "virgin" 91 Maxima that looked like it was owned by an octagenarian. I opted to shred the rear door panels and sure as ****..i found the motors i needed. Altho a bit of carefull disassembly is required to fit the lo mileage passenger motors to the front 240sx gearing it is well worth it. The sharks on EBAY wanted $75 for a "working" (probably on its last legs) D/S motor. I got my motors for $12 ea. Maybe Ill do a pictorial article. Hope this helps all you guys driving with half masted windows.

I love to salvage stuff at the junkyard. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon especially with friends.
