240sx will not accelerate

i have a 1992 240sx with a twin cam ka24 in it its is a rebuilt motor it is running 180psi of compression right now it does not want to go past 4500 rpms and does not want to i have put new plugs in it i got a new o2 sencer, fuel filter and pump and nothing can anyone help me out

Clogged cat?Timing off?backfiring?..theres alot of reasons. give more details.

it has not cat i just did the timing on it and it does not back fire at all just does not want to rev up

hey i dont know if im completely right but that happened to my sister in her dodge and in her mazda. it turned out to be dirt and build up in her catalac converter. in was running but 20 miles an hour. so check that out on yours

It's most likely going to be your MAF sensor.

i could i test to see if that is it because that part is not cheap to replace
