i know that i wouldnt want to damage my crank. what if you decide to change the flywheel later on? what if something just doesnt work out right? i know i would rather not swap cranks later on...

This is "240SXAddict"... and I already answered your question on 240SXforums...

the "pin" broke with a tap of a wrench, it's not important.

and the write up was just meant to be a base concept for KA24 owners to upgrade from. If you're buying a new clutch/flywheel, might as well make it bigger!
