speaking of rev limiters, my friends 89 hatch either seem to be over powered or under weighted? cus his hits 115 at 4k rmps all the time with just a RAM intake? and i've seen it hit prolly 120 and he's never bounced it off the limiter, and he claims he's taken it far past 115, probably past 120, I am starting to this that his ECU mighth have been played with by a previous owner? I know he didn't mess with it. This could also be one of those cases of ignorance where one of you tells me the 89s didn't have limiters or something.

I think your buddy's tach is off. I have a 92 coupe and am doing about 100mph at 4k in 5th. The limiter kicks in for me at around 5k RPMs.
