240sx VS Pontiac sunfire

my friend thinks he can beat me in his sunfire (haha) i have a completely stock 89 240sx manual 5 speed(fastback version) and he has a 99 or '00 Pontiac sunfire (auto) with no mods... which one will win on a drag on pavement...any other cars that are common around NY area that it(240sx) will beat? thanks alot

Hondaracr... The 240sx will beat the sunfire. But, seriously, what's the point... It's a sunfire! Please sell your car to someone who will appreciate it and not waste their time racing with auto sunfires.

ive beaten sunfires (3) different ones, 1 - my friends sister who also drives a '72 cutlass supreme 2 - lacrosse player at my school, got up to like 30 he ended up in smoke 3 - my friends brother whos retarded and tried supin it up. its sad really i was ahead by the time i hit 7 mph other cars u can beat.....civics, daily snack, accords, but be careful some have v-6s and can do some. kias - any of them, there seems to be alot more around here for some reason. yeah and the others i guess u gotta find out for urself

i dont know man, i LOVE my 240 vert, but i used to have a honda prelude, and it was a lot faster than my vert. im not dissin, but i woudlnt be able to win a race against a prelude.

Actually I do mind.

1. This post has nothing even remotely to do with verts.

2. I don't care if my 240, your 240, or ANY 240 can beat a sunfire in a street race. That has got to be the wackest head-to-head I've heard of in a long time.

3. NiceUsername. I am a honda lover, don't get me wrong - I've owned 2 Eg's, a Modded Accord, and a tricked DelSol. But, you are in the wrong "hood" son.

4. I can't believe anyone even tried to ponder the race results (see item one).
