240sx VH45 wiring

I'm having trouble figuring out what wiring needs to be spliced between the 240sx main harness and the vh45 engine harness. I have looked at the picture gs14racer posted up and am having a hard time figuring out which wire is which. Yes i have looked at the fsm. I'm just not the greatest with reading it. Any help would be appreciated.

it all depends on what you want to work. To get the thing running you probably only need the start signal from the ignition. After that its just other random things like tach, speedo, etc.

To get the motor to start

You need switched power from the ecu relay into the ecuStarter signalFuel pump signal

Positive power to the following

Injectors ( its a seperate wire on the engine harness)

Coil packs (its a seperate wire on the engine harness)

These are inter connectedTPS sensoro2 sensors MafCrank angle sensorIdle air control valve

Thats it from what i recall, unfortunatly i converted my harness 5 months ago and i never wrote down anything. Itwas the first thing i did before i even started putting the motor in the car.

Thank you both for your help. Lol i'm doing things opposite you gs14racer. I've got the engine in my s13 and am now working on the wiring, plumbing, and exhaust.

Thanks again guys. I'll look at the fsm more closely for the correct wires. Do you recall if the 94 fsm has the same pinouts as the 90-93 engines? Sorry if that has already been discussed.

edit: oh thanks for changing the title lol. was really dirty at the time still workin on the car. got a little lazy haha. Thanks though.

ahh yes your right. I forgot about the relays for the coils and injectors. On the Q those are located behind the ECU.

the pinouts are the same but the wire colors may be different. 90-95 ECU's are all interchangeable.
