yes you can replace them and it will probably get rid of a little vibration if you have any. You can get them at most parts stores. I know advance auto has them for sure.

You gotta have this clip in the middle to replace it otherwise it's going to be cut and weld.

I don't think OEM driveshaft has it.

You can remove vibration by taking it to driveshaft shop and balance it. Well, just get 1 piece aluminum driveshaft. It could be much easier solution and great upgrade at the same time.

I have never understood why they made the universal joints unrepairable without cutting? I would like to change mine as well.

Usually have to heat the plastic tops and press the joint out. Be sure to clean up the bore surfaces with a scotch pad before installing the new one. When you move the joint around does it feel like its skips or jumps in any places and is the movement the same stiffness throughout its range of motion?

it is a pain to do these. once you get the old one out you have to grind/file down the little metal tabs that are in there. like i said before, get one a the parts store and it will come with what you need. i have already done it.

Yup but once the oem stuff is out if it ever goes out again it won't be as much of a hassle. But having an actual press (like me ) does save a lot of time. Either that or break down and buy an aftermarket driveshaft.

the front is not bad. the back well **** that **** . Its not the easiest job by far, but WELL worth the time and effort. if you have a press then not bad at all, just time consuming. Do it.
