Found another '94 vert I want to buy.

It's bone stock, no mods whatsoever besides aftermarket rims.

The car is automatic. 137,000 miles.

When I start it up, it idles fine.

When I drive it, it shifts around 5,500 RPM - 6,000 RPM. When it finally shifts, it shifts smoothly, not jerking or hesitating. While driving, or when coming to a stop, when I let go of the gas pedal, the revs drop to 0 and the engine stalls. The seller tells me this is the throttle position sensor, and he is replacing it tomorrow. As he's telling me this, the trans dipstick is slightly brown. Car has been sitting for a little bit, maybe this is the cause for the color?

He wants $1200 firm for the vehicle.
New convertible top
New tires
New battery
No exterior rust

How long will that transmission last me if I drive it home, flush it, and put some Lucas/Dextron in there?

I plan to manual swap it. if it lasts a month, that's all I need. :)
