After a quick search... *bear with me, total nissan newb, im a dsm guy* I saw that the q45 throttle body fits... any other tbs work well as a nice upgrade? Like maybe one off of a SR platform?

4 of them, haha jk. I wouldnt go more than 5mm over tho without some major intake manifold modification (extrude hone). You will always be limited by the rest of the intake system and maf if you dont upgrade those as well.

I would think any vg single throttle body would be a candidate.

I do not think sr tb is any larger.

What would larger TB do to power band? Gains up top, loss at bottom? Vice versa? Gains all the way across?

well, without the rest of the manifold bored out and the maf allowing that air in, probably only throttle response depending on application and a slight gain on the top end.

A popular upgrade for the VG30ET is using the KA24E TB. It is a direct bolt on, and the KA is larger than the VG one. I dont know about the sizing and compatibility of the VG30DE(TT) TB.

For all years? I'm planning on making a manifold for my KA-T project and i wanted to use 3" piping but the tb was gonna be a bottle neck...not anymore, lol...wow, 90mm...

the vg30e 91+ truck engine with the crossover plenum uses what looks to be a larger body. It also uses a maf that is similar to a ka unit. If it is larger both the tb and maf would fit.

I just glanced at it tho didnt remove and measure.

If it doesn't bolt on, it may plug right in...if not, pretty much every Nissan I've dealt with has a 0-5v TPS, so you could just swap the plugs.
