Hi Harry,

Welcome to NICO. The answer to your question is yes, there are different models. For further details, please refer to the FAQ for 240SXs/ in the GENERAL section/ of the 240sx/200sx/Silvia boards.

Try this....

every time you feel like jumping all over the annoying questions with all the ferocity of a swarm of angry hornets.... jab yourself in the thigh with a bic pen and focus that anger inward and lock it away until the next time you have an argument with your girlfriend. Then let it errupt in a blinding rage, like a volcano of emotions!!! Afterwards, come back and answer the annoying post as politely as possible. Pretty simple.

I know that when I think, "makeup sex" Daunttless is the first thing that comes to mind.

(I really have no idea what that means, but it sounded funny to me!)

I believe I already did. The answer was yes. And if he wishes to find out more, I even pointed him in the right direction. If I were to type out the ENTIRE answer it would be six pages long... this would be redundant and eat up our bandwidth.

Just trying to help!:)

Ahh, yes, but I'm too lazy for that. Besides, I figured that it would benefit him to browse the forums and acquaint himself with the format.

You really didn’t answer his question and you were bit rude to him as well. I think its counter productive to dismiss questions on the message board by just saying, "Use the search command," therefore potentially driving them away from the NICO site. You could have answered the guy’s questions, and then instructed him to search the 240 threads for more detailed information. Additionally, most threads on questions go on forever and then get off track. This is discouraging if you are trying to get a question answered.

NismoFreak, thank you very much for posting the FAQ on this thread.

I sincerely hope you weren't referring to me. I did answer the question, and I was far from rude. I didn't tell him to use the search function. If you're going to comment on a thread perhaps you should read it first. Maybe then people would stop being, "rude"!

I'll say it again because you obviously didn't read it before you posted. The question was answered, and the author was given a direction to go and find more details. If someone were to post the ENTIRE answer... there would be NO REASON for the FAQ! Understand?

Maine,Your comments were rude in the fact that you were short with the person and your answer really didnt answer their question. You have done the same thing to me as well. 95silviase and yourself are guilty of "piling on." "Piling on" for you clones that dont know, is the attempt to jump all over someone's case after another person has done so. In the immortal words of Jim Rome, "have a take, dont suck."

being short is rude? Sorry for trying to be concise. How did I not answer his quesion?

I did not pile on, as I was the first to answer his question. I am not one to jump on ANY bandwagon and flame people. Have I flamed before, sure... will I in the future, sure.... but when I'm trying to be rude I'll make it quite clear.

I make it a point to be kind to most people.... out of the group of 1000+ posters, I would say that I am among the few that didn't gain those numbers by whoring around and flaming people. I just spend WAY too much time here, and 99% of the time I am genuinely trying to help, or get help. Thanks!

dude, cold, how was i rude? i didn't say anything to flame the man, per se. i directed a question towards maineimport, then politely told harry that the search button was there and could definately help him out. as others have said, it gets very very old answering the same questions over and over. the search is there, the FAQ is there. use them. they are more precise than i would be. especially if i have answered the same question 50 times before.
