Just read through everything in the stickies and search and try not to make up threads like this cause they will either be locked or you will be flamed...most of the time both.

failpost...

The 240sx is a good car, but it's not very fast stock, and insurance at your age is expensive. There are lots of parts available, And it's a simple car to work on. (good for beginners). I like my 240 a lot, I think it's a great car. If you do get one, don't rice it out. Keep is classy.

What other cars are you considering? I have some suggestions if you want to avoid driving a bandwagon car...

Sounds like a 240sx is for you. You will fit in well with 240gen.

Lol ...you forgot to mention the ~ $15,000 of debt you'll obtain afterwards.

Gtfo.

Anyways, as for the whole "if it's worth the money"...majority of the people here will say yes, but just a heads up, these cars are money pits also fyi.

Albert Lea eh? I dont live that far away from you. I will give you a heads up about buying 240's in minnesota, really look the car over well because 240's do not like Minnesota winters as far as rust goes (as well as any other car). But anyways, inspect it really well for rust ie. frame rails, strut towers, quarter panels, and if your car still has the mudflaps on it make sure you check to see if there is rust behind them. And get some winter tires and sandbags. But anyway, I really love mine and I would reccomend it. Just do what im going to do and get a pos honda to destroy in the winter.
