HI i just got a 240sx its a 1989 with the KA24de swap it has a problem it cuts out when i get on the gas it happens at 4500 rpm or around 5500 rpm. i have a friend he said it could be the mass airflow sensor but he is not sure. what do you think it could be? oh i also wanted to know if the 300zx Airflow sensor will work on the 240sx?

Full power and then you hit 4500 rpms and the car stops accelerating loses all power misfires?This in all gears?

the car will sputter at these rpms but still will go i dont know if its my mass airflow sensor or my injetors.

my friend has this same problems, except he has a 93 convertible with the stock ka24de.
