Damn man I told you its down to what you want. Do some research on EACH engine and figure out "for yourself" what you would like from your car. Find the one that fits your needs, budget, and interest.

Its all personal, and opinionated. I suggested a KA-T others suggest CA's and still more will push the SR... Then there are the RB lovers and you might even come accross a FJ20 or hell a 1JZ suggestion for that matter from a few loons. Right now I take back my suggestion of a KA-T, and instead you should find yourself a nice b18....

The only best swap is whats BEST for YOU....

damn noobs. I'm sorry xmaster, but you can't ask a question like that and expect an answer thats not flaming you. Like 96s14 said, it all depends on your goals, budget, and preferences. I seriously doubt that you even know all of the differences between the motors right now. Do some research, use the search button, and then see what happens. There is an almost endless amount of info on the site. PLEASE LOOK AROUND!

Hell I didnt even know what a b18 came out of for sure (one of them silly H cars). I just thought I would throw that out there, as I had a feeling you'd be familliar with those makes of engine....

Oh and I wasnt being any more of an a** then what was required. I answered truthfully and as factual as possible on this opinionated topic... You dont want to hear that you have to decide on whats best for you. Thats not my fault.

I vote for the fj20det... Every one knows that it is THE BEST swap for the s-chassis.

speaking of engine swaps, what engine should i get on my 240. I want something with more than no torque but at the same time less than too much torque. I would prefer a rotary with headers, turbo and NOS with iron pistons. Thanks for any suggestions

Yeah, I think you should defitely swap in a 20B with high lift cams, forged rotor pistons, a cryotreated forged crankshaft, and make sure you port and polish the cylinder head! Porting and polishing the cylinder head is REALLY important with rotaries you know. The headers are a good idea too, but I really would shy away from the NOS, the apex seals on the pistons dont like it :rolleyes

Edit: Oh yeah, dont forget to shotpeen those rods!
