im assuming you have an s13? doing a swap you must do all the wirings and such. that will be time consuming. also most of the problems after the rb25 swaps in s13 chassis are either tach or speedo doesnt work or even both. you must do a lot. if you dedicated into swapping rb25 in your s13, be sure you have lots of funds and patience. thats my .02 cents

For the money you'll be spending on a stock RB25 swap, you can have a SR or KA-T with more power output than the stock RB25. As long as you get a good ecu tune for your motor, it'll be just as reliable as stock and probably have better gas mileage than the RB25. I spent $4400 on my SR swap and was able to put out 270 whp. If having a RB is really important to you, then yes, I'd say it's worth the money. But I if you're just looking at the 220 to 250 whp, the SR and KA-T's are better bangs for the buck.

yeah,,,but OP thinks that KA-T is unreliable! You just have to know what you're doing.

Thanks yeah I think the RB25 might be too far out of reach right now I think I might go SR sorry for changing my mind so many times I was just thinking about how I heard that the SR20 gives the car good balance seeing that it is lighter also I don't plan on messing with the engine and knowing that the aftermarket is huge on those motors I think that is what finally got me to make my mind. Thanks appreciate it.

and it looks cheaper than SR20det (on ebay) 3200+ swap
what mounts did you use and how good are they. I was going to go with McKinney but 250 sounds better than 450
