Are you asking if it's better to replace those old a** subframe bushings, or just throw in some collars? If you are, then the answer depends on how much work you wanna do. If it's none then go with the collars.

i mean do i have to use both? bushings and collars. cuz the bushings are easy to install, no need to drop the sub frame so are the collars.

If you want to replace the 4 subframe bushings then you must drop the subframe. The collars are used to clean up the slop from the old bushings, no need to use both. You could, but what's the point? Notice how half of the subcollars are slotted? that's so you wouldn't have to drop the subframe.

Check out the install zerothread/97924

What are these????

arghh... Inserts and Collars are the same thing! I'm done with this thread do some research. Either get one or the other, most people get the collars (inserts) so they wouldn't have to drop the whole damn subframe. And you didn't answered my question on what those things where.

collars and inserts are not the same thing. The collars are used to change the stance of the sub frame to suit your driving style. Inserts merely fill up the holes in the stock bushings for rigidity. You shouldn't have to drop the frame for either. The real question is, what condition are your sub frame bushings in? they've probably seem better days but if they're in better condition than mine, collars are fine.
