I know this has been covered to death, but i can't find what i'm looking for through the search function.

i'm looking at buying a 95 240SX SE soft top that recently had the SR20 dropped in it. I'm wondering if the guy has the year right because the car has pop ups and through all the pics i've seen, the pop ups were on the pre-95 cars. i like the look a lot and am heavily considering the car. i was just confused as to the style differences.

They did only make the soft-top in 93-94 or was it only 94? Not sure, but I don't know of any post 95 soft-tops. Pop ups were ended in 94, and the S14 regular lights started in 95. So he has the year wrong.

Softtops are not good for much, they are heavy and flexible. nice to blow your gorgeous hair in the wind though.

i could care less if it's a convertable or not. the guy's offering a good price for a car that's had a lot of work done to it. he's done the sr swap, header, intake, and exhaust work. saves me the time and money. a convertable for me just means there's more weight near the rear. plus the guy works at a nissan tuning shop in the area, so i know he's good for the work.

verts were sold in 92 as well. In 94 only the convertable was available no coupe or hatch.

Well it certainly is original and different, and I like that. if it doesn't already have it, invest in some badass chasssis stiffening items, maybe even a cool custom roll bar with several points to increase rigidity. that'd be really cool!

shiet....

Now i wanna get a vert. ya a nice rollcage would look sick, that is as long as the everything else is taken care off, engine, body, the whole nine yards.

whats the deal with verts being way overpriced.
