240sx sr20 throttle cable

Hey guys i dont know much about cars, but i have an issue and could use some help. the clip or rubber piece behind the pedal on the throttle cable is broken or dry rotted off and now the cable just flops around and comes off at times, i tried automotive glue today and it didnt hold, i dont have the money to buy a new throttle cable, throw some ideas at me for a diy fixer-upper
