A couple of years ago, I heard a name 'Tay' from several different people. They said he's really good at 240 stuff. Last week, I found out he owns a shop now. Finally, I got to meet and bought a couple of small parts from him. Talked to him over an hour too. He seems very nice, price is competitive and guarantees his work. Most of all, he's very detail oriented person and does the right job in right way using right parts. If you live in DFW area and look for 240 shops, you should check this place out.

No, I'm not his friend or related to this shop. I just want to spread word out for a good shop that's specialized in 240s. Mods, if my post is not appropriate for this section, please feel free to delete it. I had my camera with me, so I took some pics when I was there last time.

No, not at all. Ft. Worth is just too far from where I live.

Dude, yeah... the guy i bought my Zenki from kept telling me to call this guy Tay... I'm all like... Yada yada yada... got my own mechanic.... But Maybe I'll give this guy a call after all.

The performance shop I'm dealing with right now doesn't seem to be able to meet eye to eye with me on my plans. Time to go elsewhere...

I don't know about that, a few years back when a friend and I went to a shop (GS Motorsport) to tuning their S14 Haltech-- Tay was hanging around there. Tay was just doing polishing aluminums, etc then. Maybe he learned a lot since then, not sure about "realy good" tuner part though.

If you need serious tuning done, visit Alamo in Arlington.

Been there! Went to look for a 240sx shell, I heard about him from a friend. He didn't really have a car for me but he gave us some very good and knowledgeable information about wiring(did end up doing what he recommend and it worked out exactly how he said). When I was there he had several s14s and was working on atleast 2 of them. Will definately go there again.

Cool man. I also had a problem with my clutch after the 5 speed swap. I did exactly what he told me to do, and it worked like a charm. I did the swap myself though, but he will help you no matter what.

I've had my S14 for few years now, and I've been with Tay since the start....He's not only great with SR20 swap, he's also good with fixing needs for daily drivers . I drive 3000 miles per month, 640 mile round trip to G-town every weekend, i can't afford something break in the middle of nowhere.

I had a almost new KA swapped into my car last year (got my reason on not going with SR, but that's another story) plus electric altima fan installed... his blasted clean my engine bay, hide and secured the fan wire to perfection.

One time my radiator hose started leaking and my car was getting very heated, called him, he drove all the way to Richardson right away close to traffic hr, fix it in a 24hr fitness parking lot.

Pricing is fair....If i'm to take my car elsewhere to fix my car's problems, I'll either get ripped off or at least more expensive.

I believe they sell cars. Just call or go there and check with him. I met a guy who bought an sr swapped s14 w/Navan front bumper from them, and he was very happy with the car.

I noticed it yesterday. I wonder they ran out of business due to bad economy or something. I just emailed him and asked. I hope he's okay.
