I hope i am posting in the correct place? I have a 91 240sx se/le...the story: I bought this car 2 years ago from a friend of mine who just had the car sitting in her back yard because the engine wasn't running. The interior was immaculate but the exterior? Not so much, but that's a story for another day. I had the engine replaced with a 93 ka24de that only had around 50,000 miles on it so right now i am gonna assume that there is around 83,000 miles on the engine. Ok, now for the past month or so, there has been clouds of black smoke coming from the exhaust when i start the car and when i rev. The car is also sucking down oil like there is no tomorrow, but i didn't SEE a leak anywhere. Anyone know what it might be?

TIA

it is probobly burning oil through the valve guides or piston rings. i would normaly say it is running rich, but the fact that it is burning oil leads me to belive otherwise.
