240sx se Problems

today i was working on my 1990 240sx se and it was running fine everything was going good...washed the engine pay and it started up good...

after that i changed the sparkplugs and when i started my car back up my engine had a knock and my spedometer along with the other left have of my instrument panel was dead?Note:everyting on the ledft side of my panel was dead before besides the speedometer

Anyways, I hope water didn't get into your intake if you had a open cone.And I hope water didn't get into your spark plug holes. Water doesn't compress and combust. Also, you may have gotten water into some of the engine bay wiring. And check oil?

Think about it, something you did made this happen. It worked before you did something and now it doesn't. Go over what you did.

if water got in the plugs wouldn't it just skip?well unless water got into all 4 fo your plug holes.

did you cover anything when you washed it?Alt/Maf/Distributor.. etcelectrical stuff?

yes we did cover all the electrical stuff we could...

does anyone know where to get a wiring diagram for the instrument cluster?
