My pasenger side rear caliper seal was leaking breake fluid so I threw on a driver side caliper. I only changed the bracket that holds the E-brake cable in place. Everything else seemed ok.

Anyone know if this was unwise? My caliper IS making a funny noise which goes away when I lift the handbrake a little. I'm assuming that I left air in the brakes.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

BTW: Link to a thread about seal repair/change in rear brakes for this model would be appreciated. I searched but no find... waaah.

Definitely not advisable. Calipers are not meant to be put on either side.

As far as the ebrake thing, do you have z brakes? If so, you need to adjust the ebrake shoes because they're not properly adjusted. Ebrake noises are in no way related to the air in the system as the ebrake system is mechanical, not hydraulic.
