There is no reccomended setting. It all depends on what wheels tires,links, sways, etc you are running. The dampers are adjustable for you to fine tune handling. A good starting point is the softest setting on the dampers. If it feels bouncy, go up a click or two. If it is still bouncy, then go up further. Done.
