240sx s14 1996 - one key for starting, one for doors?

Hi everyone...

this might be a weird, dum question but...

when i got my car from my friend, he gave me only one key

which doesn't open the doors... i lock/unlock the doors with a remote transmitter from my alarm...

so question is - do they come with 2 keys or not... or are all my locks broken (which I doubt)

It looks like, at one point, someone replaced either the door locks or the ignition cylinder. If your key won't open the doors or the trunk, they probably replaced the ignition cylinder. If you HAVE to have matching ones, you can probably get a full set of everything from someone who is parking out an S14.

so my one key, the one that starts the car, should be opening my doors too then eh ?

From the factory, yes, that's how its set up.
