Hi guys. Kinda vehicle specific... just wanted to know how you mounted your enclosure in the back. I'd like something a little more secure than velcro/bungee cords for anti-theft purposes. I'd like this as close to the back seat (wedge enclosure) as possible. I'd like to use L-Brackets but I think I may puncture the gas tank in doing so. Suggestions?

BTW, I can't mount the enclosure to the back of the seat because I have my amps already mounted there.

Thanks in advance.

I just built my box to the specs of my car dimensions. I have a box that is 37.5"x10"x24" and it fits pretty snug it has a little room to move but it has so much weight it won't move except when I hit hard drift or hit a pothole etc. Another thing you could do is if you don't want a box that big, is use your extra wood measure the gap between the box and your walls and cut it out so box can't move and it looks custom. You can even carpet these pieces. In my friends car not a 240 we cut out his whole runk set his sub box on top of this piece and put screws around the corners mounted the amp then crpeted over.Looks sweet.

Problem is, the box is already built. It's a snug fit and I don't think it moves around at all actually, but like I said, this is more for anti-theft purposes and peace of mind. I don't want to be driving hard and hear my box slamming into all sorts of things in the back

I had actually considered the false panel thing but it's just such a waste of room. If I have the time or get desperate, I may end up doing that though and make a set of compartments on the sides... Thanks for the ideas!

When I had my 2 12"s the box was cut wrong and was a little to small. Then I got some 6x9's to increase my system so i built their box to wedge against my other box and my sliding problem was solved The one thing about high school that i liked is that they gave this objects made of many sheets of papers wiht words on them and they were labeled like history, math, etc. they worked great to keep my box from moving. And any thief went into shock when trying to steal my subs because they would be reminded of school.
