Xcessive already makes them

Unless you could compete with their pricing....

Im talking about the complete frame rails. They just make the front end and its a cover. You re covering the rusty ones with those.

I say post a pic because it would be a welders nightmare to replace the entire..... spot welds, rolled edges, bankings with a welded seam. The ones above weld to the old one yes, but only and idiot would not cut the cancer out.

I would be interesting depending on the price and quality of the replacements.

Honestly, I don't think there will be much of a demand. I know if I had a 240sx with that bad of frame damage, I would just scrap the shell and get a new one. The gain of replacing the frame rails really doesn't outweigh just picking up a new shell for ~$1000.

How much would you plan on charging?

And then one day there will be none left...

Anyways, will they be a one piece or a multiple pieces like the factory?

There are more and more discontinued body parts everyday for our cars. :(

I dont know yet if they'll be one peice. Id like to but its easier mesure parts by parts and have them fit one over the other. The probleme with a new shell is that 1 its not new 2nd not many have the place and time to completly strip their shells and start from skratch on the new one. 1000$ and 100hrs of labor or 1000$ over all with job done... I wouldnt go for a new shell.

i'll probably need the ones that babbob2121 posted earlier, the rest of my rails are still in good shape... i've heard some shops can do something similar to just the front part of the rails from scratch for a hundred more???

is it really that expensive to plasma-cut pieces of metal, then to weld it together? :gotme

Someone needs to make a butterfly brace to fit over existing rails. That would be worth some money and development.

hmm, i've been out of the "scene" for too long... that's prob a good idea since the rest of my rails aren't rusted out (yet)

i won't need the middle part; just the rail re-inforcement after I put those front rail patches...
