think the 240sx will ever achieve the classic status that older japanese iron from the 70s and 80s?

do you think there will be enough of them around in good original condition to be appreciated like this?

There's great potential for the S chassis to reach a "classic" status. I don't think it will ever reach a halo status like the classic Z (S30) or the GT-Rs of the 90s, primarily due to its initial high production numbers, but in the coming years once the car becomes a bit more rare to see on the road, people will start to treat it with a bit more respect.

I get lots of comments from random people when I take mine out about how clean/rare/neat it is to see a 240. Granted, I get the rarity of the convertible to play off of, but I imagine once the beat up chassis rust off the road, the clean ones left will be held in a bit higher status.
