240sx running poorly

after i got my last problem sorted out i got it running smoothly again but then i replaced my fuel filter with a z32 fuel filter and now it runs really rich and it seems like it wont go into closed loop operation and whenever i hit the gas it hesitates and the rpms drop real bad and it bogs. i have no idea what the problem could be

Is it the right kind of fuel filter for you car or just a "preformance one" you got for your car.

its a factory nissan filter for the z32 and i just replaced it with the stock one for the sr20 and it still runs the same

sure you didnt knock anything loose by accident when you changed it.. i know stupid question but the fuse box is close to it and there isnt ALOT of hand room.. make sure everything is snug.

yeah i found the problem, my pigtail to my maf had a short in it and it kept causing all these problem whenever i would change anything around but i got a new pigtail so i should be finished with all these reoccurring problems. thanks for the help
