roofs racks arent gay when theyre used. id love to have a roof rack for my mountain bike. but in order for your hatch to open the bike rack as to be pointed up in the back. which looks hideous.

Just cause fatty here can't pedal a bike, he thinks that racks are gay. The real reason you should get a trunk rack instead is because the roof is damn small on a 240.

Hell ya, roof racks for the win. On the right car I think it sets it off from the rest of the copy cat crowd that's out there such as this.

I think they are gay. Stick your bike in the trunk.

Racks FTW!!! Not only do I like the look of my rack but it also comes in handy for tons of stuff. Not just bikes and snowbords...

Examaple... A buddy of mine hooked it up with a couple of nice chairs. They wouldn't fit in my s14 so, I tied them to my rack.

Roof racks can look cool even when they're not used.

They only look dumb when they're not being used, AND their on some ugly pos car that's stock and people do it just as a "fad."

(not directed @ poems2beats as his car isn't beat to s*** like 90% of 240s)

I wanted to get one for my road bike so I could drive half way to school, and ride the rest of the way. It's a "euro-style" I really don't care for, but as a bicyclist enthusiast, I can't resist.

I think if you bought it, you are buying because you will be using it, and it also looks bad azz. Im gonna put mine on my 240sx thats hooked up because thats what I love to drive, and I own an expedition.

I'm glad most 240s don't have racks. I think the rack helps set my car apart from all the others..... Lately most 240s I've seen look the same. Beat up and poorly executed lol

^ agree.
I guess the same model car from the same manufacturer made in the same country should look different.
i guess car companies have been doing it wrong all along.

I think he meant different as in mods.
>>How to build an AweSoeM JdM tYte 240 doriFT WinaArR MAchINE y0!<<
1) If you have fresh paint, drive through 13 miles of barbed wire, it looks better that way.
2) Get FLUSH y0!!
3) Pignose lip
4) Crash into a wall and fix it with zip ties
5) Get so low that your subframe explodes!!!!! (THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!)

HOW TO BE DIFFERENT!!!
1) Do all of the above
2) Add Roof rack.

Dont get mad guys, I wish my car was flush and had a lip :frown:

What's up with all the hate? Buying a roof rack for the sake of having one is dump as efff...

But if you actually board or ride then its a necessity. Have you ever tried to fit a mountain bike in a 240? I can only get mine in when I take the front wheel off and the handle bars hang out the window. I don't ride alone and bringing 2 bikes in a 240 is full of fail. That and I want to ride other places other then my hometown so a roof rack is the perfect option
