Hi yall, i recently came into possetion of am 89 240sx ( a car i have always wanted and loved ) and its a dream come true ! ... the car is in pretty good shape altho it shows its age, but i want to fully restore it. I want to start with the interior, needs things like new console new buttons/controls on the dash, console, doors. then new seats ect.......

i have really tried looking online for places to get these parts.... and i am coming up empty..... especially for the console and controls.

any ideas? i really want to turn this car into the *****in machine it truly is.... engine is strong! altho that will get restored at some point too.... but interior first !

thanks yall

Try this, it helped me find new everything for my S14, http://www.trademotion.com/par...gID=2Could get a little pricey if you want to replace everything, but if you want it to look new buy it from here. If you just want used buttons that look new, good luck finding them. This website should have just about anything you might need.Josh

P.S. Anyone reading this, this is a great site if you need anything, but I guess you could go to the dealership and get all the same stuff.

i was about to post everythingnissan.com (one of the sponsors to the left), but it's a trademotion site :D trademotion is one of the best online wholesalers IMO and you get nifty pictures to determine what you need. I would cross reference some of those prices with a Nissan dealership if you're going new so you can see if it's worth the cost of shipping the parts in

Or, you could rip out all of the interior (carpet, back seat, passenger, take out everything in the trunk and make a full race car w/ roll cage and everything:) J/K, welcome to the boards and good luck and happy hunting.

the trademotion sites are probably one of the best places you can get interior parts from. I just received my power window control bezels in the mail today. cost 41 bucks shipped to my door and now I won't have jacked up door bezels :D

Don't forget to check EBAY for used parts, unless you absolutely want brand new. I'm doing more of a renovation, rather that full restoration on my 91 LE and have found many good used parts at good prices. You also might luck out at some salvage yards. Also check Academy Nissan online and don't forget your local dealer. I've bought several parts at mine and you can bargain a little sometimes. Bill

Thank you very much everybody, yea i have a few bids going on ebay. and i really am after the stock look, after i get it back to " new stock " then im going to tackle the engine and make her as extreme as i can, i sorta like the " hidden surprise that comes with a stock "looking" car that kicks ***... plus those with less morals are less likely to look my way.

i checked out those sites and a few key items i am really wanting seem to be as obscure as anywhere else.. stupid stuff like the rear defroster and windshild buttons on the right of the steering wheel, they work great but over time they are all worn off and its just a white glowing orb, this is the type stuff im wanting to replace as well.

anybody ever had their seats re apulstered? have any idea on that sort of cost?

and again everybody, thanks alot !!

Personally, I would just chuck the s13 seats and get some decent aftermarket seats. Reupholstering will be more involved than you think. Try more like rebuilding with new foam and everything.

Be sure to keep your eye on the b/s/t section here and check your local boneyards. Almost always diamonds in the rough there.

the main ones i am looking for imediatly are the rear window washer switch, and the rear window whiper switch located imediatly to the right of the steering wheel, just these little square buttons ( mine over time the picture and paint is completely worn off of them. ) also looking for the passenger door electric window switch.
